Mechanical parts, cylindrical threaded fasteners for nuts. A fastener consisting of a head and a screw (a cylinder with external threads) in two parts, to be fitted with a nut, for fastening two parts with a through hole.
Body fasteners go onto the vehicle early, mostly by welding or riveting, and they stay there for the life of the car. If a nut welds badly or a stud sits out of place, the problem shows up on the body line, where it is expensive to fix.
This category covers the seven fasteners we make for body building: weld nuts, weld bolts and weld studs, aluminium grounding components, a riveted stamping sub-assembly, a steel sleeve and a seat armrest bracket. All of them are made in our own factory.

Three stages, three groups of parts. Each one is described in detail further down the page.
A welded fastener is only as good as the material and the process behind it. This is how our factory is set up for that.
We have made automotive fasteners for nearly 30 years, welded and riveted types included. We know what a body shop checks first: the part welds well, its weld features are consistent, and every lot behaves like the last.
A weld bolt is not picked from a catalogue alone. Its material, such as low carbon steel or boron steel, has to suit the workpiece being welded and the load the bolt will carry. Our R&D department works through that choice with you.
Our large factory runs many independent production lines, so welded, riveted and aluminium parts do not have to share one process.
Production runs under IATF 16949:2016 and is audited to VDA 6.3. A defined process with defined checks is what makes a welded part repeatable from lot to lot.
Send a drawing, a sample, or just the welding conditions: base material, load and what the part has to carry. We quote factory-direct, with no trading company between us and your line.
Process, typical use and material for each part at a glance.
| Product | Process | Typical use | Grade |
|---|---|---|---|
| Welding Nut | Welding | Strong threaded point where only one side of the part can be reached | M4~M27 |
| Welding Bolt | Welding | Welded fixing point matched to the workpiece and the load | M4~M18 |
| Welding Stud | Welding | Holds trim, carpets and heat insulation boards on the body sheet metal | CT4~CT6,M4~M6,T4-T6 |
| Aluminum Grounding Components | Welding | Reliable ground on aluminium sheet metal or aluminium profiles | M8 |
| Stamping Sub-Assembly | Riveting | Nut fixed onto a sheet metal part | M5~M12 |
| Steel Sleeve | / | High-strength link between metal plates and external-thread parts, for large loads and vibration | M6~M14 |
| Seat Armrest Bracket | Assembly | Armrest fitted and removed quickly for maintenance and cleaning | / |
Many bodies now use both metals. We make welded fasteners for each, so one supplier can cover a mixed-material body.
Welding Bolt in low carbon steel or boron steel, Welding Stud in steel, and the Steel Sleeve for high-load connections.
Welding Stud in aluminium alloy, and the Aluminum Grounding Components set for welding on aluminium of various grades.
These four parts are welded to the body or to aluminium sheet metal and then carry a thread, a trim fixing or an earth connection.
High strength and good welding performance. It is the usual choice where only one side of the component can be reached, and after welding it forms a very strong joint.
Made from weldable materials such as low carbon steel or boron steel. The right choice depends on the workpiece being welded and the mechanical load the bolt must bear, so we ask for both before recommending a material.
Available in steel and in aluminium alloy. Welded to the body sheet metal, it carries interior and exterior trim parts, carpets, heat insulation boards and similar accessories.
A set of aluminium alloy bolt, nut and cover plate, made for welding on aluminium sheet metal or aluminium profiles of various grades. Its low resistivity gives a reliable ground.
On our production line. Weldability depends on the material and on the shape of the welding features, so we control both together.
Not every fixing point is welded. These two parts are built into the sheet metal component itself.
A small fastener assembly in which a nut is fixed onto a sheet metal part through riveting. [Client to provide: nut types and sheet thickness range]
Makes a high-strength connection between metal plates and external-thread parts, and suits places that bear large loads and vibration. For the aluminium version, see the Aluminium Alloy Sleeve in our Sheet Joint Fasteners category.
On our production line. These parts are fixed into a panel and then loaded, so the dimensions that decide the fit are inspected as critical characteristics.
After the body is built, the interior goes in. Welding studs already carry the trim, and the seat armrest bracket handles the armrest.
Made of metal, with enough strength and stability to carry the armrest. The armrest can be installed and removed quickly when needed, which makes maintenance and cleaning easier.
Most body fastener projects follow the same four steps.
Tell us what is being welded, riveted or fixed, and what it has to carry. Our engineers can suggest which of these parts fits, or whether a custom design makes more sense.
